Gov. Joe Corzine said although some casino projects in Atlantic City are having trouble, most projects are solid. Corzine also said that he will do everything in his power to prevent another shutdown.

The casino plans of Gov. Patrick will certainly face stiff opposition in the state. His plans of putting future slots profits in the state are also a bad move.

New Mexico commented that their partnership with Laguna Pueblo is only for sponsorship purposes. This kind of set-up is common among the schools in the state.

The bidders for SkyCity are rumored to be the same people that are behind Harrah's bid back out .The reason why is that they failed to secure funding for the project.
